Vertical Aerospace announced October 16, 2026, that ANH Structure and Northrop Grumman LITEF will supply key systems for its Valo eVTOL aircraft. The long-term agreements were signed a day earlier, according to the company’s SEC filing.
ANH will develop, certify and manufacture pilot and passenger seating, incorporating its 30G energy-absorption technology. Its assignment spans detailed design, certification, industrialisation and production. Northrop Grumman LITEF will supply the LCR-110 inertial-reference system, which uses fibre-optic gyroscopes and MEMS accelerometers to provide position, attitude, heading and other reference data to flight-critical systems.
The LCR-110 already meets applicable FAA and EASA technical standards for inertial-reference equipment, Vertical said. That equipment-level approval should not be confused with certification of Valo as an aircraft. These contracts identify suppliers for occupant protection and flight-reference functions as the programme advances; they do not announce completed aircraft certification, passenger operations or delivered production aircraft.
