Leapmotor has started producing its all-electric B10 SUV in Zaragoza, Spain, the company confirmed at the Paris Motor Show on October 12. The manufacturing operation, developed with Stellantis, will supply European customers.
The announcement marks a concrete step in the brand’s European expansion: vehicles are now being built locally, rather than local production remaining a future plan. Leapmotor International is a Stellantis-led joint venture, owned 51% by Stellantis and 49% by Leapmotor, that began operating in Europe in September 2024.
The company also used the Paris show to introduce its B03 urban hatchback to Europe and display the larger D19 SUV. But the B10 production start is the immediate industrial development. The announcement did not specify the Zaragoza operation’s annual capacity, initial output, local-component share or delivery timing for Spanish-built cars. Those details will determine how quickly the new manufacturing base translates into supply for European buyers.
